James Carter Linger, attorney, former college professor and American Civil War historian. Practices law in Tulsa, Oklahoma; and has for many years served as counsel for the Coalition for Free and Open Elections of San Francisco, California.
At university level he has lectured on criminal justice, economics and legal philosophy.
A barrister since 1977, Mr Linger continues to practice law in the fields of constitutional, election, criminal, bankruptcy, and probate.
